Le Toit du Cul de Chien – Day 3

Started the day with some meditation and yoga asanas to work on hip flexibility. Relaxed until the evening and tried some easy climbing as an experiment as much as anything else. After 8 boulder problems from V0 to V2 and 4 routes from F5 to F6a, my fingers, arms and back were all asking for a rest. It seems that 2 consecutive days of short intense training was about right before a rest day. I’ll have a complete upper body rest tomorrow and see how things feel a day later. More yoga and maybe some walking or running would be good tomorrow.

After a very large and late dinner last night, today’s food was minimal but plenty and I didn’t feel hungry all day…

Breakfast: cappuccino

Lunch: lemon juice, garlic, chilli and honey

Dinner: venison sausages and salad
