Sea cliff adventures at Swanage.

Andy and I camped at Woody Hide and enjoyed two great days of hot sunshine as we made our acquaintance with Boulder Ruckle.

Sometimes it’s necessary to descend a little from the top of the cliff in order to check that you are actually about to abseil into the correct spot…

After an easy warm-up route we got on Tatra – a steep and strenuous first pitch followed by a committing traverse and a tricky corner to finish.

Our second day finished with Finale Groove, a brillant line up a steep corner and a thoughtprovoking finish…
