Barefoot Adventures in Hill Walking, Scrambling and Rock Climbing.

Barefoot Connection

Barefoot exercise is good for your body and your general well-being. Wearing boots on your feet is the equivalent of putting your hands in heavy mittens, so thick they stop you from feeling anything you touch. Your feet are so similar to your hands that they can skillfully adapt to a wide variety of surfaces and help you to feel your connection with the earth.

Feet have evolved to help you walk, run and climb in the bio-mechanically efficient and graceful way you are capable of. Free your feet and the rest of your body follows. They bring a wonderful tactile dimension to your world and barefoot movement in nature is like meditation and reflexology that leaves you feeling alive, alert, peaceful and content.
