Navigation Courses

Confidently navigate your way through thick fog, dark nights, winter blizzards and white-outs where the snow on the ground and the mist before you merge into a uniform world of white. When you can’t see the ground just a few meters ahead of you, you can still be sure of your location and direction with the right navigation techniques.

Tailoring your course to your previous experience, we will show you how to read the map and the terrain whilst relating one to the other. You will build and develop a finely-tuned set of navigation tools with a good understanding of contour lines, map symbols, route planning, compass bearings, timing, pacing, tick-off points, attack points, aiming off, hand rails, night navigation and more…
