Winter Walking Courses and Adventures

Winter Walking

A beautiful winter wonderland of snow and ice that glistens in the sun and sparkles under the moon, the British mountains can also challenge you with temperatures below minus 20 celsius, wind speeds above 100mph, blinding blizzards, disorientating white-outs, rapidly changing avalanche conditions, steep snow slopes and tricky moves over icy rocks.

We can guide you safely through the winter mountains and we can equip you with the knowledge you need to survive: using your ice axe and crampons, rope work for security on steep terrain, digging emergency snow shelters, improved navigation skills and an understanding of snow pack formation with techniques to assess its stability.
