Walking group on the summit of Ben Nevis in Scotland.

Our adventures, courses and holidays have two main aims: helping you to learn new skills and giving you the opportunity to enjoy the magic of the mountains. Bringing friendly people together to experience the beauty of nature, the excitement of adventure and share the happiness they bring is one of the things we love most about our work.

We have been mountaineers for twenty years or more and we are all fully qualified members of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. We love to see you enjoying yourself in the mountains and it gives us great pleasure to see you develop into competent walkers, navigators, mountaineers and climbers.

As much as possible, we like to tailor your course to your aims and objectives, with instructor to client ratios designed for you to learn in a small group and at your own pace. We want you to be able to ask lots of questions, receive personalised coaching from a professional and benefit from lots of practice time.

Prices include all your technical equipment like ice axes, crampons, ropes, rack, helmets and harnesses. There’s usually a full-board option with healthy food and comfortable accommodation, and when you book onto a course, we can send you discount codes for Cotswold Outdoor, Snow & Rock, The Climbers Shop and Joe Brown Shops too.

“A fantastic week with lots of special memories. I’d highly recommend Mountain Magic to anyone”
